Welcome to the Harte Surfacing

The Surfacing Division provide The Harte Group with the flexibility to carry out surfacing works on its own internal group projects and also as a stand alone division undertaking works for others.

Surfacing division

The division operates its own plant and provides:

• Dense bitumen macadam roadbase
• Dense bitumen macadam basecourse
• Hot rolled asphalt wearing course
• Open graded bitumen macadam
• Stone Mastic Asphalt

Works undertaken include:

• Residential Developments
• Retail Parks / Supermarkets
• Business Parks / Industrial Estates
• Major Carriageways

All work is done in accordance with current Codes of Practice and to Local Authority and Highway Specifications.

The Group has maintained, to date, a 100% success rate in the eventual handover and adoption of its works to the customer and the Local Authority Roads Inspectorate.
