The surfacing division of The Harte Group provide flexibility for the Group to
carry out its own surfacing works on contracts won having the ability to
respond quickly & directly to the demands and programmes of our customers.
The division operates its own surfacing plant and directly employs its
surfacing operatives.
Flexible surfacing to roads, car parking & footpaths including:
- Dense bitumen macadam roadbase
- Dense bitumen macadam basecourses
- Hot rolled asphalt wearing courses
- Open graded bitumen macadam
- Stone Mastic Asphalt
The Group has maintained, to date, a 100% success rate in the eventual
handover and adoption of its works to the customer and the Local Authority
Roads Inspectorate.
In addition to working on Harte Group projects the Surfacing Division carry
out 'external works' contracts direct to Local Authorities, Private Companies
and other Construction outlets.
All works undertaken are carried out in accordance with Local Authority
