Welcome to the Harte Lighting

The Lighting Division provides Street & Exterior Lighting, Road Signage & Illumination and CCTV Systems. Working on a variety of projects either in-house for the Harte Group or externally for many other Companies and Councils.

Our Lighting Team

The Lighting team carries out all of its works in accordance with prevailing Local Authority Specifications and will pursue adoption of all installations by the requisite bodies on behalf of the customer and maintains, to date, a 100% success rate in the eventual handover and adoption of all its works.

The Division is registered with Constructionline, no. 59853, and is an approved contractor conforming to the requirements of the NICEIC. The division is also currently undergoing registration with The Highway Electrical Academy administered by ASLEC (Association of Signal Lighting and other Electrical Contractors), informally known as Sector Scheme Approval.

TRL Signs

TRL Signs has over twenty years experience in the supply, installation and maintenance of traffic, directional and tourist signs to the construction industry and Local Authorities. The Harte Group acquired TRL Signs in 2006 as a natural ‘bolt-on’ to our Lighting Division.

We will design, supply and install site signs, sales signs, lit & unlit traffic signs to all local authority specifications. Major clients include BEAR Scotland and projects undertaken include high profile contracts such as Streetscapes and trunk road signing. The division also has term contracts with several local authorities for annual traffic signs & bus stop maintenance.
