W J Harte Construction
Ltd. acquired Pennant
Plant Ltd. from
the Miller Group
in May 2003, the
resources of the
specialist trading
divisions of Harte,
Inverclyde Land
& Marine Construction
and Harte Infrastructure
amalgamated with
those of Pennant
Plant. The outcome
is Pennant Civil
Engineering (PCE),
the single trading
division of Harte
dealing with specialist
civil engineering
projects.
The
Division operates
currently on over
20 developments
throughout Scotland
on a wide variety

(PCE) is located
in Bonnyrigg, on
the outskirts of
Edinburgh, and carries
out infrastructure,
rail, marine, structures,
drainage, industrial
building and general
civil engineering
work throughout
Scotland. As part
of the Harte Group,
we have undertaken
Civil Engineering
projects throughout
Scotland since 1974;
establishing positive
relationships with
major housing developers,
Network Rail, Local
Authorities, private
organisations and
the Water Authorities.
